Who it is for
Business owners and technical teams who see potential in AI but need a clear starting point. Perhaps information is scattered, support depends on a few people, or manual handoffs slow down an otherwise capable team.
The audit examines how the work actually happens. Its purpose is to identify a useful, feasible scope, including cases where conventional automation is a better fit.
What we look at
- Workflow: the trigger, people involved, handoffs, exceptions, and expected output.
- Information: where the answers live, how reliable they are, and who may access them.
- Integration: available APIs and tools, system constraints, and dependencies.
- Authority: actions the system can take and decisions a human must approve.
What you leave with
A written plan describing the recommended starting workflow, the proposed system, and the practical steps to implement it. We agree the audit’s scope and fee before the two-week engagement begins.
The plan should make the next decision easier: what to build, what information or access is needed, what to evaluate, and where the risks and unknowns remain. It is yours to use with VERV or another implementation team.
How to prepare
Bring examples of the work: a typical request, its path through your systems, and a difficult exception. Describe where people lose time or have to repeat decisions. Redacted examples are a useful starting point; the required access is agreed as part of the scope.

After the audit
You can commission a bounded AI agent build, take the plan to your existing team, or address prerequisites first. If the larger issue is technical ownership across several initiatives, fractional CTO support may be the better engagement.
